Christmas prep

Hey guys! As you all know Christmas is around the corner.. This reminds me of when I was young and my mum would buy me 'Christmas clothes' and that ladies and gentlemen was the outfit of the year! :) Its amazing remembering the thing that we used to treasure, in comparison to now... I put together a few outfits which I feel would be ideal for this festive season.. Some might be going out for dinner, having a family gathering, parties or going to church, these are some of my gestures ..

For those who require comfort, this outfit maybe ideal and I have also added an alternative of a pair of flats in this last ensemble.

 I incorporated red as it is one of the traditional festive colours, but I used burgundy a lot more because too much red just felt too cheesy for me.I also added a little twist with the colour blocking theme which remains in trend. Hope you enjoyed!

Take a moment of silence..

I was about to post my blog post for the week and I heard the news of the death of Africa's greatest icon. .

He understood all the hurtful things than were done unto us, the black people... To him it was not a history lesson or a video watched on youtube... it was his life.. but he understood that hatred does not help us, hatred can only consume us and make ones self a slave in mind, a zombie with guns, knives, killing and causes self destruction.. Hatred does not build a nation.. He started with the man in the mirror, he became the change he wanted to see..and he build a legacy... 

His names is written in the books of history as one of the greatest inspirational man of all time. His strength and courage touched nations...

 Tears shall dry but his name shall forever be engraved in our hearts. He was a man of great honour. 

May he rest in peace.

Confidence

Confidence is something that comes with age. Having the confidence to start a blog took a lot of courage for me and having a photo shoot was a scary thought but I did it and I ended up enjoying it (you know). You will understand one day...

Hey guys! I finally got my ZigiNY boots after waiting for them since summer (Long story)... I wore all black everything, which I'm growing to like the colour surprisingly (hopefully I wont wear black in every single post LOL ) On the flip side thou, you can never go wrong with black. I accessorized with the gold chain which breaks the colour.
